THE
PETERSON-LUCKENBACH WEDDING
Cameron Peterson & David Luckenbach,
New York, NY
Cammy & David knew they needed a location that had
reasonable wedding offerings, as well as a place that was not difficult to
reach or expensive for their guests. After extensive research, we
narrowed it down to Pelican Bay on GBI (finding a few other alternatives in
case it didnt work out ), and took a trip in November 2004 to check it
out.
Nearly everything at Pelican Bay matched what we were looking for.
Pelican Bay offered us a package that could remain within our budgetary
constraints as well as the option of getting married on the beach and having a
reception outdoors in a beautiful spot. We also liked the amenities of the
area, such as those at the marketplace and the Westin, and the intimacy of
Lucaya. The beauty of the islands is present in every detail of Cammy
& Davids tropical wedding at Pelican Bay.
The bride and her
attendants carried lovely bouquets of pink and white orchids; David sported an
indigenous bird of paradise on his lapel, while conch shells, sea glass, and
seashells graced the reception tables surrounded by candles and Tiki torches.
What a celebration for over 50 family members and friends who traveled
from such states as Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Virginia to name just a
few. And they loved it, too. Many said it was the best, most fun, and
most unique wedding they had ever attended. Our relatives are still beaming and
talking about it. |
