THE
PEARCH-PROUDFOOT WEDDING
Nicola Pearch & Gregg Proudfoot, Derby,
England
Nicola & Gregg wanted an alternative wedding of "casual
island romance" as opposed to the traditional English church wedding.
Discovering Pelican Bay Hotel while searching on the Internet, Nicola realized
"it was one of the only website's that provided lots of photos, giving a great
insight to the weddings they had to offer. It didn't look or sound-like the
traditional Caribbean conveyor belt wedding."
With a fantastic
turquoise sea back drop and tranquil music from a violinist, "the ceremony was
beautifully conducted by Reno Smith, with truly special words."
Fabulous food and a Martini bar awaited family and friends at The Ferry
House for their Bahamian reception. "The steel pan duo gave great Caribbean
ambiance. When we returned to our room, it was covered in rose petals and
candles, accompanied by champagne and music, which was a lovely touch."
"All brides who are worried...don't! You won't be disappointed. Marva
Munroe had everything under control, everything exceeded our expectations and
there was no need for any-worrying beforehand. Her calm disposition and
professional qualities are of great credit to herself."
Over thirty
family members and friends journeyed from England to share in Nicola &
Gregg's wedding. "All had a wonderful time and have lots of fond memories to
treasure." |
