Requirements for having your wedding in the Bahamas
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
- Residency
Couples being married must be in The Bahamas for 24 hours prior to wedding
date.
- The couple
planning a Saturday or Sunday wedding should arrive in The Bahamas by
Thursday.
- Your
Pelican Bay Hotel Wedding Planner will arrange for personal transport to and
from the Courthouse and assist in filing of all necessary
paperwork.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
- Photo ID
– Driver's License Valid Passport or Certified, raised seal copy of your
Birth Certificate
- Bahamas
Immigration card (provided to you upon arrival to Bahamas)
- Certified
copy of original of the divorce decree if divorced
- Death
certificate of spouse if widowed
