Getting Here: By Sea

Private boats can enter The Bahamas at the Lucayan Marina Village, which is designated an official Bahamian Port of Entry. Many cruise ships call at Grand Bahama, with travel time between Florida and Grand Bahama amounting to less than five hours.

Airport Transportation

Transportation from the airport to Pelican Bay at Lucaya is available via taxi as one exits the Customs Lounge. The one-way fare for two persons in a taxi is $19. Each additional person is $3 per person. Golf bags are extra. Limousine transportation is also available at a fee ranging from $60 one-way for two persons in a car.

Driving Directions from Airport to Pelican Bay (Distance 8 miles):

· Exit the International airport.
· Turn left and carry on to the Welcome Circle.
· Travel south on The Mall Drive to the Ranfurly Circle.
· Head east on East Sunrise Highway to Lucayan Circle.
· Continue on Sea Horse Road, following signs for Our Lucaya.
· Follow sign posts to Pelican Bay at Lucaya.
